This car is to build up as our own car.
Modify the existing chassis. Remove old cross member and fit new cross member as required.
We are going to use an MX5 1800 4 cylinder motor with an MX5 automatic and Ford 8” diff.
Front suspension to be hand-built in-house using Wilwood AFX after-market front spindles and QA1 coil overs.
Rear suspension to be typical hot rod 4 link, pan hard bar, coil overs.
Brakes Wilwood front 310 x 20.6 rotors with 6 piston Dynapro caliper; Rear 280 x 20.6 rotors with 4 piston Dynalite calipers, Booster 7” double diaphragm and Wilwood polished master cylinder
Wheels 15 x 6 Performance Mini-lights or similar. Body basically to be left stock.
Interior to have new seats, new interior upholstery in a light tan colour, new fabricated dash with after-market hot rod gauges.
Paint scheme – looking at medium to light blue from Toyota and Hyundai or Deep red colour.
