MAURIE BARRINGTON'S STREET ROD
’32 FORD 5 WINDOWCHASSIS
To be an original style reproduction frame rail fully boxed with modern type cross members including engine mounts and gear box mounts. Rear section kicked up to allow for channel of body. This to be built by Magoo Street Rods.
BODY
Fibreglass channelled over chassis approximately 80 mm and roof to be chopped approximately 65 mm. All this work to be carried out by Magoo Street Rods.
SUSPENSION
FRONT
To be Superbell I-beam axle, cross sprung, split hair pin type radius rods with QA1 single adjustable shocks.
REAR
To have QA1 coil overs with ladder bars and a pan hard bar. Suspension parts and components to be supplied by Magoo Street Rods.
RUNNING GEAR
Engine to be a 302 Ford Windsor; mild cam; 4 barrel carb and fabricated headers.
TRANSMISSION
C4 Auto – stock with Gennie Shifter
DIFF
Falcon EL 3.23:1 ratio, narrowed down to 56 ½” (1435 mm), axles cut and re-splined. New billet housing ends machined and fitted to the narrowed housing. Axles fitted with normal ball bearings to allow the fitment of a Wilwood rear brake kit. All diff work to be done in-house by Les Hunter Racing Products.
BRAKES
Front – Wilwood 11 ¾” x .810” vented rotors fitted to Wilwood hats and hubs. Calipers to be 6 pot billet Wilwood Dynapro in red.
Rear – Wilwood 12.19 x .810” vented top hat style rotor with Wilwood internal handbrake and Wilwood Dynalite 4 pot calipers in red.
Master Cylinder – after-market aluminium and 7” double diaphram booster.
All brake work to be done in-house by Les Hunter Racing Products.

Front 15 x 7; Rear 16 x 8 Type: American Racing Torque Thrust IIs
TIRES
